Default Fire Extinguisher and Aluminum Floor Suggestions

Rennline has some cool aluminum floor mats that are drop-in items, but they don't list a fitting for 997. I would like to save my carpet, but would rather not drill--any product suggestions?

Also, any fire extinguisher bracket suggestions where I don't have to remove my seat to install? I have the GT2 seats in a .2 997 GT3.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I have the black trackmats from Rennline, they attach with Velcro to the stock locations. For the FE I have the Sharkwerks plate. No idea how it's installed since Champion put it in for me...

Brey Krause sells an extinguisher mount for a roll bar. I actually installed the rennline mount on my seat and its not difficult but you must remove the seat. Impossible to instal otherwise... it will rattle like hell unless done right.

I love my Sharkwerks FE mount on the GT2 seat....

Easy to access in case of fire.

+++++ The Rennline track mat I bought for my 987-S fit perfectly when I moved to the 997.1-S and seems to fit my 997.1 GT3 just fine. Does a good job saving the carpets from the heel area. Mine did chafe the 997-S carpet just a little at the left corner near the firewall. Nothing drastic though.

Thanks! I just ordered the Rennline Aluminum Track mats, the Brey-Krause FE and billet mount for 1.75" roll bar--too lazy to take out seat! BTW, I didn't see one for the passenger side (track mat), but asked about it in my online order.

New-in-box BK R-2035 found on Rennlist will be coupled with a $30 FE with metal mounting bracket from Cdn Tire ... Metal to metal with FE for under $100 ...

But it does require the seat to be removed ... Shouldn't be too bad.

Rennline, get them unpainted as they will scratch easily.
