standing that wing up will just slow you down unless you are on a very small course with no big long straights. if you are doing it to get more grip in the turns then change your thinking - adjust suspension for mechanical grip in the turns. standing wing up will add drag to the car which will kill lap times on any track with a long straight.
and while I am at it, those lips on the rear of the back spoilers just add drag, again problem on big long straights. I love how my car sucks up to those RS cars with their high wings and lips. those RS cars can kiss all that hp gain goodbye.

From what I understand there are 3 fixed settings. 1st setting is flat (0 degress)
2nd setting is 4 degrees in hole #2
3rd setting is 8 degrees in hole #3
Here are pics of 4 and 8 degrees from when I was experimenting with the different angles.

I run max wing and INCREASE my lap times. The 8 degree drag coefficient decreased my max speed on the LOOOOOOOOOONG straights a VIR by just a few mph but car is much more stable in the kink on the front straight and MUCH faster in the very fast climbing esses.

By "and while I am at it, those lips on the rear of the back spoilers just add drag," do you mean the Gurney Flap? The Gurney Flap is a very important part component of an airfoil. Not that you want all the technical details....

yes, that is what I mean. More drag. Slow.

Clarke, wing and Gurney will help in Bishops. ;-)
