I used to get that "Toasty" smell frequently... Seemed like it happened most in the fall or when windy (lots of debris around) I always suspected it was leaves etc in the radiators or other hot place?

Dear Dog forum ... My lab smells a lot like a wet dog after I take her for a walk in the rain. Is this normal ? ![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
Sorry couldn't help myself.
Only unexpected smells I ever got off the car was last year I found smoke coming off the front DS rotor after a vigorous track session. It was due to some "marbles" wedged between rotor and heat shields. Was disconcerting until source found.
Surely faint whiffs of hot metal, oil, coolant, friction materials, etc. are all to be expected. It's a car afterall. Billowing clouds, and reeking of evil would be different.
