Cargraphic GT3 differential

Don't screw around. Get the GT diff or have Matt rebuild yours. You will be happy, it is money well spent. I know Matt personally very well. Just spent the week with him in Daytona at the 24 and can say Matt and his products are first class.
When it comes to gearbox parts, we only deal with Matt and GT, end of story.
Cheers

I went w the Guard as well. 50/80. Very pleased. Takes some getting used to the way it hooks up but no more wagging rear end under hard braking. I'm not really faster on the track with it, but it's certainly less stressful as the car stays straight on braking and has more traction coming out of corners.

You can certainly have GT rebuild your diff. But since you live so far away, it'll probably be faster to just order the parts and have your mechanic do it.
GT needs a measurement because the clutch spacer plates vary in thickness to account for stack height differences in your diff. You need to disassemble your LSD to do this.

Matt sends you the internals, your shop installs
OR
You send the whole diff, Guard installs new internals.

what would be turn around time on this? excluding of course the halfway round world shipping?
and is it easy for a non-Porsche shop to remove the diff?
my dealer will give me grief for going with a non OE part (i know i know, but it is what it is...)

Well, I sent my car in, the next morning the diff was packed and in the hands of the courier, 7 days later GT confirmed receipt (homeland security delays... lol), 3 days after that he confirmed that it was on its way out again, 5 days later it was back at the shop, 2 days after that it was being bed in on track

+1 on Guard and Mikymu for his LSD buster thread. Pulled the LSD, sent to guard, it is on the way back now. Can't wait to get it in. About 3k track miles on the car, Guard said the stock LSD was toast. Fantastic service, great communication, custom to your needs. Could not be happier. Now just have to get that 30 pounder back in the hole.
