Pedals: SRP vs. Rennline vs. other
I just came back from 3 back to back track days, ready to use my brand new race shoes. Instead, ended up using my sneakers since I could not heel-toe properly to save my life, and in fact had my foot slip off the edge of the brake pedal a couple times (under hard breaking after the straight away) trying to get over far enough to blip.
The problem isn't just the widely spaced pedals, but poor range of motion in my right ankle from an injury long ago. I can heel-toe no problem in my sneakers, and should be fine in race shoes once I get the pedal issue sorted out.
Whatever pedals I get I think I will want throttle extensions. SRP look very nice and appear significantly less expensive than Rennline. I have quickly read through a few threads on the topic, but still wanted to post and get some fresh thoughts. Any particularly great or poor experiences with these pedals.
Any help sorting this out would be appreciated. I will likely place an order first thing tomorrow so I can use them for my next track day coming up very soon.

SRP for me. Best pedals I ever bought. Smooth throttle , hi grip brake and clutch.
Well made, nice R&D.
Forget the dead pedal, it's only for show.

It is hard to comment on RENNLINE because I have only used the SRP.
SRP are super grippy and you will not slip off with the pyramid finish. Top notch quality machining and they are very light.
I know the rennlines are rubber studs, so I cannot see that holding the edge of a shoe when trying to throttle blip.
I like rennline products very much as Ive bought a bunch of their things but as for pedels im just trying to help out.
This is just another opinion and really doesnt mean much. I do not want to step on other brands toes as i know rennline makes many great things...
SPR make some of the greatest ones Ive seen. Im sure many others will chime in here to support the fact that SRP are the top choice. They even have a number of new options now.
Best price and they are nice and light aswell. Top service also, the owner really was great guy to work with. Couldnt stress to you more that SRP are the ones to use/choose.
hope you make the right choice. Just trying to help, Good luck

I had the Rennline pedals in my BoxsterS. They looked nice but I think the stock pedals had better grip to be honest.
I've had the same problem of my foot slipping off brake pedal (stock this time) with my Sparco shoes in the 911. SRP looks like a better bet to me and plan to give them a whirl in the GT3.

I have the Rennline with the Toe extensions, dry easy to Rev Match (don't call it heel toe, don't use the heel).
I have the black with rubber bits, pulled them from my C2S and reinstalled them in my GT3. If I had to buy a new set, I would do silver, the black powder coating is wearing off a bit.

SRP -- Love them and you can customize the throttle pedal as desired, as well as grip surface.
Dead pedal is just for show -- BUT, it looks awesome and somehow feels better when you put your foot on it just knowing it looks so good.
Is that wrong?
