I bought 19" Pirelli Trofeos for rain....but not yet tested.

I would agree concrete and rain can be tricky.
Take care

I love to drive in the rain, used to drive with slicks when raining in my go kart. Gives you really good car control.

I have driven in the rain the Michelin Pilot Sport 2, R888, RA1, Michelin Pilot Super Sports, RE-11, and Hoosier Rain tires (Wet radials).

For a track car, get Hoosier Wets on narrow sizes. I would run 225/40R18 and 245/40R18. The Wet radial have immense grip, the Michelin Pilot Super Sport cannot be compared.

Personally, if it rains I would not touch Sebring, every time I have been there with rain, the tow truck comes back with a wrecked car. I remember last Spring a Viper spun at the start/finish on straight line. Touching paint everywhere (any racetrack) in the rain is like driving on oil. Sebring is mostly concrete, great grip in dry conditions, less grip than asphalt on wet conditions.

Avoid street tires, or RA-1, R888 for rain driving on a track car. There are much better options. Some race teams have left over GT3 Cup rain tires (Michelin Racing Rain tire) that have not been used, and you can grab them for cheap, but you'll need 9"/11" wheels in the Cayman.

i run Z1 star specs for rain, i saw a couple race bmw cars on same tires. most people who use them prefer them to other brands as Z1 handles heat ok when it goes from wet to dryish and has better wet grip than r888.
but Z1 do not exist in wide sizes, 235/285 is widest they got.
