Well, I think the overwhelming response is that it would be a good deal. And, for what its worth, I certainly wouldn't dump half of my entire savings into it, but it would be a good chunk of what's liquid. I'd have to sell a couple other cars over the next few months to offset the expense.
I went and looked at it today. That was a bad decision. Trying to get a few of the details on the car clarified by the seller but hope I can make it work. If not, I will assist the other interested parties in getting in touch with the owner.
Serge- yes, I have a problem.

Having a few things tweaked and picking up this week. This is, however, an impulsive decision so don't be surprised if I get a bad case of buyer's remorse have it re-listed in the not too distant future.

I am too busy to get to where the car is (15 miles away) so I had to send the check to the shop. I hope to get over there by the end of the week to collect the title. I am going to have the rear quarter windows re-installed so I can secure the car on the street. I need to order some Super Sports for the stock wheels. Current track wheels have used slicks but I will probably go to an R-comp tire. Also going to remove the stickers and give the car's exterior a more stock look.
Here are a couple more pics I snapped with my cell phone. Car is up on a lift (from my old garage!) so was hard to photograph...
