Hopefully your not ordering a helmet for how it looks, but how it fits and functions.
regardless they are a bit "darth vader" for my liking too...

those are 'mid range' halmets, obviously, table does not include pure carbon pro grade helmets in $2K+ area but if one needs them i guess one already knows what they are.

in racing forum was also an alternative discussion some time ago what racing helmets are best for embedded speakers and mic radio solutions - but you will need to search for that, i do not have a link. to prevent some other question - i looked at Si-12 too and i beleive other than outside shell material it is a total copy of AR-10, IMHO, it is just my uneducated guess based on a visual observation.
if you`ll order any HJC - get an optional dark dimmed visor too, for $60, it is a way better thing than sunglasses.

I bought the HJC Si 12 from OG Racing. It's a little bit tight when going on but it feels comfortably snug once I've got it on. I called the salesman to talk about whether it's right size or not. Based on everything he said it's right, except for one thing. He said the the top edge of the eyeport should be right at eyebrow level. On me it's at least 1" above the eyebrows. According to him, that would indicate I need a bigger size. I just can't imagine that I need bigger. If anything I would have thought it could be just a tiny bit smaller.
Can anybody with an HJC comment? Thanks.

I find them a little snug, I have the HJC HX-10 ... the eyeport on mine is at eyebrow level ... 1" is a lot of a gap!

remove all liner from inside of the helmet (it is all on velcros) and try helmet back on. if you still got eyeport 1" above eyebrows - try to move it around to figure out what is not right. maybe it is not a helmet.

i tried several HJC helmets at local store and i found their sizing chart to be extremely accurate and sizes change every 2 centimeters.

Here are a couple of pics. With the chinguard pulled down lower it's better in relation to my eyebrows.
What do y'all think based on these pictures?

^that looks fine. Make sure helmet doesn't turn side to side(use your hands and try turning helmet)- should be very snug. Mike
