Michelin Slicks vs. Michelin Pilot Sport Cups

Sorry, you have not many options in 18" in Europe.
If you have 19" stick with MPSC, pay more and enjoy it more.
R888 suck.
They heat cycle out and as soon as thread is gone offer no grip, goes away fast.
Plus it sounds like you are driving on tank tracks (rupsbanden), ugh..

Great Data,
Did you happen to get thoes lap times the same day? And if so which set did you run first. Were all a bit ballzier toward the end of the day (Faster laps) if we didn't have any mistakes that shake us up.
I generally 2-3 sec on the Socal tracks between slicks and the majority of the r-comps.
Also anyone have any data at Autoclub on street tires? Would be interstesting to see the split (PS2, supersports, rs3's etc)
I've ran the same config at Autoclub on Hankook RS3's in the 1.52 range and Autoclub is a Aero heavy track , I woudn't be susprised if the margin was much tighter giving the additional aero of the P-cars.
I like this tire alot, just don't make it in 19' and the 18' widths are limited....for now.
No noise like the R888's or A048's, and good life out of them.
But no A6's or Slicks by any means. Great to drive to and from events and still have lots of fun for multiple events.
