Here is what I came away from the 48:
I need new smaller jeans
Best 48 to date; traffic was not so bad
Grady is tough to pass
The Greek is really funny
Randy dandy is the best
Eric is lucky I lent him my headers
I need coaching; contacted Leh King
Jerks and Machul (people hater aka Dennis or John) were both missed
If you have a manual transmission, don't lend your car to Teo
Peter loves videos a lot; he should have been a **** producer
Eddie "the cannibal" is an underrated cheater; his car is tuned
Clark is crazier than me
I'm a terrible drinker
Passengers suck!

Despite of the massive number of off-track and agricultural excursions, who won the 48 Hours DE Cup? Cuatro Punto Cero or Trakcar?

Excellent line from Izzone at Bishop bend, fast (124mph) and with the car where it should be for T15.

Did any street car touch the 2:16s again?

Eddie, please read my PM. I wasn't trying to be a dick but was complimenting all of you guys on your driving skills.

My sarcasm was towards Niko who said I wasn't understanding that I am slower than a pro.

Juan won, corded slicks are slower then RA1

Eddie and I got a couple of 2:19's Clark did 2:184 on fresh Hoosiers probable while going off the track. Quatro punto cero went a little faster but the difference was small enough to come play with us again.

Everybody is a winner in decup

Shiny side up with no scratches at the end of the weekend wins

Nope....I have no idea he to use a gun. I drink too much to own a firearm, I'd get drunk at home and play with my guns

I'll stick to taking my car apart

exactly!!!!!!!

only when somebody's car get damaged, at the very least, does reality hit home.
these are big speeds, and mistakes aren't given a raincheck all the time.
it will/does happen one day.... just, as a group, have to minimise the chances.
distance between cars is very important. it is fun, but need buffer zone for safety.

Nicely done! I never did any IPSC or other competitive stuff. Did the gun thing for a living many moons ago, still enjoy verifying those skills on the range!

FYI, not sure how many of you will be at the PBOC event at Road Atlanta in a couple weeks. We are trying an experiment there: PBOC is hiring me to observe SuperSolo drivers (as well as Solo and Instructors) at various corners initially, and giving detailed feedback to each driver right after sessions. If it works well, we will likely do this at each PBOC event, with the potential in the future for selected in car coaching & me driving selected students' cars for baseline data as well.

Nice! Glad to see PBOC is interested in improving all us non-racers. I've seen quite a few guys tossed from the solo/instructor group at Barber over the past couple years, and rightfully so. Comparatively, I prefer the predictability of super solo.

Unfortunately, I'll be at RA one week later for the BMW event. The M3 needs the dust shaken off it.

You might have some good drivers purposely driving badly for some free coaching
