He said they have 3 or 4 locals interested and would call me if they didn't come through. I am in Anguilla on vacation or would be at the dealership in the morning. I would prefer a black car but like the low MSRP and would make it a clone of Mooty's car.

Its pretty silly to turn down a wire coming from Citibank...

This dealership does not have a very good reputation. Check out yelp, and you will notice very low ratings. I've dealt with them briefly, and I would never do business with them.

sounds like they keep turning down everyones offers.

What kinda payment are they looking for? Gold bricks? wont accept 400 troy ounces, or 27.5 pounds but the 30lbs ones are accepted

i once bought an $ PP with 100's packed in briefcase. when i open'd it up, the manager almost died. i dont think he has ever seen that much cash cash. then he told me when he said CASH, he meant a chk (as long as it's not credit card)....

when i get bored enough i might do something idiotic like bring $200k in dollar bill to buy such a car. a dollar is legal tender.

I am happy to keep my 3.8RS...I did buy another P-car yesterday. Will post pics when I have confirmation of the deal today. Its an 09 white 997TT cab...I do live in Los Angeles. My 08 TTcab came off lease in October and I think its a great daily driver and don't the point in spending extra $$$ for Turbo S.
