I'm not sure if Rodger lets that car into his building.
he might not be able to help himslef and just fix it so he can park it inside.

That damage was only bodywork.
It looked terrible but it really was light damage if you can call fixing every body penal light damage. I suppose you'd get a good deal on a good car with very known history and go fast goodies. I heard it has CF roof panel, CUP wing etc. but I have not seen it for myself.

CF roof panel means technically the car is not street legal? I have not seen it since the mishap day. All repairable but I am sure it wasn't cheap.

On the 30 track days before cleaning up the car, does this mean the car just goes in the garage and there's no tech work done? For my own piece of mind, my car is kept clean so it is easy to spot issues. After Winterfest, it looked like a zebra with all the rubber marks!

No, why?
Just make the car fancier and lighter, the panel has not much to do with strength, just to keep the rain out.

^ The adaptive sport seats probably rule that one out for someone who's looking for a track car

Id have to agree, Spending 140k US then having to add in buckets is kinda overkill for a track car

Adding buckets if you sell the stock seats is a wash if you add non Porsche buckets

(I know I know no air bags, insurance, blah blah blah)

IMO any (even with low miles) used RS that cost over 125 isn't worth owning much less one with red dials, red belts and cheap seats.

The ring temptation car is umm mighty tempting

Once again though cough cough smart money buys a certain someones SG track prepped RS for 80

the problem with buying a previously wrecked car will surface when it's the new owners turn to sell the car. Will you take another hit on depreciation? If it's going to be a long term dedicated track/race car, then it shouldn't be a problem. BUT, let's say you picked it up for $90K today and wanted to unload it 1 or 2 years later. How much will you sell it for then?
