Michelin Blue (GT3 Cup) Slicks are the maximum level of cheating.
I ran a set a California Speedway and posted laps 5 secs faster than my best efforts the same day on MPSC.
At Sebring the Michelin slicks are a good 2.5 secs faster than R6, and R6 around 2 secs faster than RA1 or MPSC (race spec not the crappy n-spec).
Good news, Michelin slicks are good for 4 HC, then they fade down, so unless cheaters brought many sets (at $2,200 a set), they will be slow (R6 slow) on Friday.
Leaving in a few minutes. Fiat was in bad shape, ride heights all over the place, alignment off like never before, no wonder Daytona was scary in the braking zones.

Oh boy....
He could have passed me sooner, I lifted on straights toying with me. He did leave me in 1/2 a lap..I pitted and gave up, my tires and me were cooked!
then Juan's 4.0 got by you but didn't leave you.

I know some cars will be F/S so if anyone sees 2010-11 GT3 (not RS) at Winterfest I'd appreciate a heads up. drjimm5@aol.com or 516-633-1609 can be passed to seller. Already spoke with Robert (nice guy aka "number 9") about his car but looking for more options less miles/track. I wish I was closer. Enjoy fellas...

peter, great driving!!!!! sorry to see your tire let go, but yeah, it's better to stop early.
interesting to watch juan; i always thought his 7.1 was twitchy through the corners, but in this car it's the same thing happening, that's just his driving style, always constantly adjusting......the 4.0 got some mojo on the straights though.
was the white 7.1 on the first lap, grady's car, or does he have a 7.2? sounded similar to the one in the daytona videos.
thanks for posting, and have fun!!!!

Little mid winterfest update.
2:189 for TRAKCAR :-)
I Needed some Maritime blue motivation I guess. 4.0 on brand new stickered Michelin slicks was no match.
Not sure if I will drive the rest of the weekend or just watch my own video LOL
Happy as a todler with a lolipop.
