I'd paint them GTSilver, looks nice on white.
My .. GT3 was white with silver wheels and it looked great as well!

Welcome.
I tend to stray away from all of the API SM oils (Mobil 1, etc). ZDDP, an anti-wear additive, has been seriously limited in favor of preserving emissions equipment. Of course all car manufacturers are on-board because they have to warranty emissions equipment for 7 years!
I use SWEPCO 306. It's not synthetic though, so oil change frequencies should be increased.

Yes, come say hello! This is my tentative schedule for the next month:
Jan 27: Chuckwalla
Jan 28: Streets of Willow
Jan 29: Fontana
Feb 11: Buttonwillow
The 3-day wknd in Jan will be epic - lots of driving, lots of loading and unloading, and I'll be traveling with my two crazy dogs.

Thanks to all that chimed in. I will be tracking the car sometime this year. Need to get up to speed on the handling characteristics of the 911. First on my list is a lesson on how to properly drive this thing. Coming from an RS4, which took no brains to drive, this thing has a mind of its own. I love it.
Trakcar, I am getting my stockers stripped to bare metal this coming Monday and refinished in a flat texture anthracite color. Almost identical to the Volk color on that link you posted, except that they will have a texture finish like a teflon pan. SHould look nice. I'l post up as soon as they are done.

Looks awesome, dude. Looking forward to the HREs. I never liked those stock wheels as they remind me of a flower. Mine's in the shed.
I've driven the RS4. It's surprisingly no faster than an E46 M3 in the straights with more weight in the corners. How's it been with that whole carbon build-up deal? My buddy has one slammed on a set of 540Rs. Looks awesome with the lip.

Another awesome GT3; congrats, you're gonna love it!
Take it to the track or a mountain road & you'll understand what this car is all about.
My mechanic replaced Mobil 1 with Motul Synthetic (not sure which one) in my RS. His basis was that Mobil 1 Synthetic/US is not the same as the European formula, while the Motul is direct from France & has a better Synthetic formula.

I live right behind the Arboretum with all those F'in Peacocks. It's just south of Colorado and east of Michillinda. Nice neighborhood but the birds are a bit much during mating season, which appears to be starting now.
Imagine like 50 or so of these birds making this noise at 4am. It's like this during mating season for about a month or so.
