The GT3RS is nice, but that 993 looks amazing. So sorry to hear about the loss.

So sorry to hear this.

When/if you can, could post details on the break-in as a lessons learned for the rest of us?

Good luck!

Wow, sorry for the losses.....as has been said, in here, hopefully the insurance companies will pay "fair value" once the applicable time frame passed and the cars don't show up. Trouble is, the money isn't going to cure the sense of violation and loss. Time will heal the feelings and hopefully, there will be a very sharp Customs agent who demands that the cargo containers be opened and your babies are locked inside, nice and shiny clean and that you can buy them back......if you choose.....
well, here is to hoping and that this New Year brings you some really good news.....sounds like you reallyare in need/deserve it! Best wishes all the way around.

Probably in the container, and on the ship no too long afterward.

Hope you come out whole. Good luck.

I can see it being south of the border but in a container ship? At the LA os SD port? That implies border/port control connivance and the LAPD and Port Authority should be all over it.

Yeah, maybe. Not sure how it's done in SoCal, but that's how it's done in Montreal, one of the highest car theft cities in NA (if not THE).

Then... Port management is on the hook. They have to clean up their act.

There are simply too many containers at any major port... Thousands of stolen cars are leaving via container every year I would guess

Sorry maz

I unfortunately have to agree that there are way too many containers for customs to check. I worked for a shipping company years back. We shipped all kinds of high-end vehicles including very rare race cars. In the four years that I was there I saw someone from customs only twice. When we spoke they confirmed that they don't have the man power to do much. The biggest deal with customs was with Harley Davidsons.

There is so much illegal crap going on at ports it's disgusting.

massive amounts of guns and drugs go thru these same ports everyday, I dont think they are worried about a couple of p cars. It's a huge industry and half the customs agents are paid in on it. Lets get real those cars are pieces and half way to china by now. they are minor parts of some huge smuggeling ring.
