thanks for the help. Turns out coding was possible

Got back to Dubai a week ago and had a great track night on Yas Marina last night.

New question.... since I got the car back I notice on the LCD display in the instrument binnacle when flicking through the options, previously if no Nav was active it said:

"No Route Active"

Now it says:

"NAV
---"

Is this something gone screwy in the coding? Nav on the PCM still works and if making a route active nothing comes in the centre display still.....
