fun stuff. goodtimes. I have a bunch of models friends got me for xmas, I enjoy some of the little things to pass winter time. This is cool they made a gt3rs version. enjoy it.

very nice, I like those flying lizard cars. I am building that in a 24:1 scale plastic model right now. I have all the parts scattered over the table being painted and preped for assembly.

The wife decided not to buy me GT2 seats for the RS & I received the same model! Looking forward to building it with my son.

I wish I could take credit for the detail on the models, but they are 1:18 diecast. The GT3RS is made by Norev, and the Flying Lizard is made by AutoArt. I ordered the FL RSR directly from their webstore (cheaper there than ordering directly from AutoArt). The level of detail is awesome. I have both on my desk in my home office and just constantly stare at them....
AutoArt has a lot of fun models for the 997. This one is pricey, but kind-of the dream for my diecast collection:

They do have the 1:18 version for considerably less, so that will probably complete my die-cast collecting for the 997 :-)

Lopro, I found out the previous owner of my RS had the $13k Carrera GT/GT3 seats in the car, but took them out & put the stock seats back in before he traded the car in. I wish he didn't as I LOVE those seats, but $13k...no way. The GT2/GT3 seats w/ folding back are around $6,500. Again the wife wasn't too amused....lol.

MikeoR32, thanks for posting the info, I'm going to order the Flying Lizards GT3RSR. It'll be a nice addition to the 997.1 RS (orange), 997.1 GT3 & 997.1 GT3cup I have.
Then I'm looking at starting to collect the 917, 908, 956/962, 935, 911GT1....etc...

I hear you on that, 6K on sale... what a deal but Still super pricy. and if you add in the center alcantera option cusions, thats addition of 3k. love them too bud but I think I have to go with some recaro or the wife will be more than just "not pleased"
