they should be used on race cars only, if you will drive your car on a street often you may get them cracked as those lines do not like bending when suspension travels all way up and down.

From which comic did you pander that canard? That is the biggest load of doodoos since Dino had the squits.

I drive in harsh conditions, from north of the Arctic Circle (winter testing of ESP systems) to hot summers in southern Europe and across Australia. I use TÜV approved lines from Fischer Hydraulik. If the lines are of the correct dimensions and properly fitted, you should have no problems. If excessive suspension travel is bending SS lines to the point that they fail, then they are too short and/or incorrectly routed, when rubber lines are distorted to that degree, then they pass little or no fluid as they effectively become kinked.

in the true spirit of Christmas, I'll offer you an appropriate joke, if you promise never to repeat that canard.
