5 Series is the Ultimate Daily.. IMO (Bias) But I've had tons of cars and I'll likely always have a 5Series in the stable. 7.1 sounds like it is the best bet for your situation.. Keep the 5 too.

Drive both 1.RS & 2.RS to see the difference & see which is more appealing for the money. No matter which one you decide on you'll only really appreciate these cars when you go to the track, or to a lesser extent a mountain road.
To me color was the most important factor followed by options.
Good luck with the decision: it's a good position to be in.
