Is Chin at Homestead Feb 25/26 a good track with lots of GT3 drivers?
Anyone hitting that one?
What do you guys think of Homestead?

I've never done Homestead but I plan on the February event. Some like it some don't but I'm just looking to try other tracks. It can't be worse that PBIR.

Is not worse tan PBIR, but is close, at least PBIR has food and is 30 min from home.

It kind of sucks... I wouldn't drive down from VA to go anyway. I went once and never went back.

I am not driving from VA to go to Homestead. I will already be based in WPB at Orbit after the Sebring Winterfest. Just trying to find DE events while the rig/cars are already down there before I tow it all back to VA to be at VIR in March.

How about Road Atlanta?

If you're in the area, might as well try it. Its ok...

RA is pretty fun. Just came back from there with Izzone and the Greek. Neat track, lots of walls and blind corners with elevation changes. Great place for those with big *****

Homestead is worse than PBIR. I like PBIR except the back straight.

I'm bringing my crappy MPSC, so you can stop crying about my slower Fiat harassing Aero Beetles when I run Hoosiers.

I'm also bringing a fresh set of Hoosiers to scrub on my last session on Sunday, and possibly take down any lap time Mr. Cuatro Punto Cero could be bragging about the entire weekend.

I'm running Fri-Sat-Sun.

The Fiat will get a couple of upgrades prior to this event:

- Alignment (I do alignment once a year)
- Traqmate wired to RPM (ran out of time to get my AIM Solo and SmartyCam)
- Bigger suction mount for camcorder.
- New location for Traqmate display unit

I will be recording most sessions, so I can document for the next two months every Aero Beetle that breaks a clutch or pressure plate while being followed by a slower Italian. More proof of reliability awesomeness from Fiat. Hopefully, these Aero Beetles don't break coolant fittings while I'm running behind.

I can deal with a few running problems, clutch and pp are cheap

Ur brakes are alone why ur fiat is not a good Sebring car as far as cost

Put 6,000 track miles on ur fiat, over half at Sebring.....all in a year and let's talk

Homestead has a whole lot more pucker factor than PBIR but it has the WORST track food RA is a Hoot but also takes big Man Bearings to be FAASST.
