I finally succumbed to temptation. Just got the car back on Friday. Clubsport rear cage (997.2 flavor, so it's not strictly period correct for my 997.1 RS) and also upgraded to the GT2 seats. I was supposed to be at MSRH today to break it all in but the silly Ferrari guys cancelled the event because it looked like it might rain.

There will be a whole gaggle of gt3's out there with lighter faster drivers and or fastercars on faster tires all gunning for 2:19's.
never mind quatro punto cero's going for :17's or faster. It's crazy to think about laptimes in a 4.0.

I bet they can run :12's on slicks..

Here is an install form my previous car (Sin911 car). Same bar but I had it crinkle coated
Izzone - did you have to modify the OEM clubsport rollbar to make it fit? I now own your previous car (ex-Sin911 car as well...among other). Bought the clubsport bar from Mvez, and it simply doesn't fit. Pushes the sunroof up and makes it unusable.

When I bought the clubsport bar it was from someone who had it in a sunroof car already, not sure if it was modified

Default OEM Rollcage install pics

My car has a sunroof and I had the oem clubsport bar shortened to fit properly and not push up on the headliner/sunroof tray.

Good to know!! I'm now debating whether to sell it unmolested, or modify and install into my car.
