Default Which black lug bolts work on the 997 GT3?

I have black wheels and finally a vendor got smart by offering anodized black factory lug bolts. Thanks, Suncoast.

For my 997.1 GT3, do I need to get the extra long bolt or am I OK with the shorter ones?

TIA

I was looking at this the other day.

I believe you need the longer for rear wheels (spacers) and the regular for the fronts. They have both in black. I would call before ordering and verify.

You DEFINITELY need the 5mm longer "GT" bolt for the rear if you still have your 5mm spacer on the rear. The fronts come with the 5mm GT bolt as well but you can also use the standard length since there is no spacer up front.

I'd pass on the black (anodized) bolt as after a couple on and offs of the bolts for wheel changes and the finish scratches and chips enough to where it starts to rust badly. As me how I know

So pretty much, there's still no factory black lug nut solution so don't bother getting these. And since I run the Champion RG5s, I can use either the long or short bolts since the offsets are perfect meaning spacers --> superfluous.

You guys saved me some paper. Thanks.

I've seen those black bolts in person....they are not the jewelry you might be thinking they are. Save your money.

Buy an extra set, rattle can them glossy, and then rotate the sets so they are always fresh; or just get some lug nut black caps

I had those black plastic caps on until one of them went missing.
