Default O.K. for my 997.1 to drive on my 996 GT3 wheels/tires while my OEM's get refinished?

After trying to get smart on the new car (to me) I noticed that the 996GT3 versus 997GT3 diameters are very different:

996GT3
F 25.4"
R 25.0"

997GT3
F 25.5"
R 26.3"

Fronts are basically identical but the rears are over 1" taller.

So.......what are the effects of driving with too small a diameter? Just want to make sure I don't do any damage while I'm waiting to get the wheels back from the refinisher.

Here's the obligatory pic of the 996GT3 wheels on the 997GT3

Drive it ! just don't try to set any records. And don't trust the ABS and ignore any TC lights ok?

So as long as I drive like grandma and don't stomp on the binders I'll be fine?

Sweet, thanks.

I'm a bit off my game lately after inhaling the Turbo exhaust gases for the last couple years

Ouch. I guess I deserved that after leaving the GT community once. At least I wasn't whacked!

You have 30 days to get it together. After that no more questions allowed.
You are here to help! And btw I am going to adjust your post count so that it reflects reality. Mr. 10k posts Dell.

If by family, I think this is what you are referring to, no?

Well...it may seem like that at times. Esp when one of us calls you up with "an offer you can't refuse."
