That's a nice looking phone cover.

I'm just wondering if the metal jacket will cause any reception issues.

Reduction of signal strength, if any, is minimal.

Try it! if you feel it impacts the signal, we'll take it back.

Does the case have any rubber inside to prevent shock from a fall?

The cover is not a shock-reducing device. It DOES protect the iPhone from things banging into it in your pocket etc.

Mainly, it is very cool esthetically.

got mine in silver. looks cool, takes a little getting used to holding a non-rubber cover and trying to text. I can tell no difference in performance for voiice or data.

I took a gander at the site, couple neat little items you have there. Nice ideas.

Please beware of very sharp edges on cut-outs! I was cut from the sharp edges. I had to sand down all edges on mine to get rid of the hazards. Of course when you sand down the edges, the finishing color comes off!

I have discussed this with Fred and he says that mine must have been a bad one and offered to exchange or refund my money - a nice gesture.

Do not to be all negative, it does fit well and looks pretty nice.
