completely agree, they really are a force unto themselves, hugely competent and successful ... its hard to do an "apples to apples" comparison with them and anyone else ... everyone else is a bit of an "orange" in comparison ... no offense intended to the oranges ...

I like SW as well as his high availability and contribution to the various internet forums, but want to do a bit more digging/checking before I go to them. I'm certainly not racing my car, but do place value on motorsport pedigree/R&D.
Thanks!

I'm just trying to figure out who the go-to top shelf USA p-car vendors are now that I'm in the GT3 addict group. Based on my limited knowledge and research, I'm not convinced at some of the engine work being done by the players today - not that for my novice needs I need a Manthey - but it's good to know what quality level you're working with because $ is $.

I think you will need to look at each shop individually.
Some shops modify street cars that will most likely never see the rigors of racing. Basically they are cars that will remain titled and driven on the street with an occaisional track day.
And then there are shops that do it all. From suspension, engine, and wheel upgrades, for your street car, to full racing support, arrive and drive programs as well as ground up restoration projects to custom built race cars.

While I have your attention, I once heard you went on a safari... so that the animals could see you.
Thanks.

i have blown up motors and other XXXX things.... they usually just fix it and not charge me or maybe just 50%. i trust them much so now they work on everything i got from p race car, street car to truck to my bicycle... think i will have them over to redo my kitchen in 2012.
mustache man will add sqft to the kitchen while sharkey and company can do the EVO tuning on my viking burners. the fire is just too small. i want turbo backfiring flames when i cook. tony can put MCS shox on my bar stools..... hum... great idea, but i digress.
