Default FS: Forgeline Centerlock/Hoosiers, Tequipment Bar

Well, although I still harbor very mixed emotions about selling my beautiful 2010 GT3, I have to accept that the car really hasn't been used since the date of my purchase and I can no longer justify having that much money sitting in my garage. I can't bring myself to track a car that is in this good of condition but its killing me that I currently don't have a track car to use. Best car I have ever owned and I will, one day, have another. Alas, I have the following up for sale:

Tequipment Roll Bar
-powdercoated white, 996/997 fitment. My understanding is that these are no longer available but I cannot confirm. Just purchased from Norman and his FS thread is in 997GT3 forum with a pic. I haven't unwrapped bar. This should be the Dell special!

$1000 plus actual shipping

Forgeline GWC3-R/Hoosier R6
- set of 4 NEVER MOUNTED Centerlock wheels with 997.2 GT3 fitment.
-these wheels are gorgeous and perfect.

http://www.forgeline.com/products/ce...orsche-cl.html

-Hoosier 245/35f, 315/30r sticker tires.

Prefer not to separate wheels/tires. I have good packing materials for these.

$4000 (less than cost of wheels alone) plus actual shipping.

Please email if interested. Sorry for crappy pics. I

Todd

What are the offsets of the wheels? Do they fit a .2RS?

Sorry to hear you are selling the car. It seems you got yours right around the time I got mine.

I say just go track it! I have 3000 miles, maybe 30% of which are track miles, and percentage quickly increasing as street use decreases.

4forme- I went over the wheels with a fine tooth comb and I don't see the offsets stamped. Perhaps another forum member would be able to help out. I will call Forgeline tomorrow if you are interested. Their website says the wheels are 18x9 and 18x12 designed for GT3 and GT3 RS.

drl- I know. Stay tuned, I will come up with something. FYI- looks like my car will end up in La Jolla.

no snow in AZ.

go install the bar and wheels and take your chances on the track.

2010 GT3 current market value allow a clean car to get used on the track.

New car smell wont last forever......

Pretty sure offsets are different for the RS than for the regular GT3.

I will have to check with Forgeline. The offsets aren't stamped and I have no clue how to measure.

Todd cracks me up! Every time it's too much money sitting and he buys something even better. LOL

What's next, a GT3 4.0?

Usually the offset are either on the backside of the hub or sometimes stamped on the spokes close to the barrel.

Serge- no lie. Keeping an eye on Fritz's car but Pete's '10 RS is SICK!

4forme- I looked pretty carefully but the lighting is poor in my back garage. I will try again in the daytime.

Offsets for the RS are different than the GT3...example front for RS is et48 and GT3 is et53...rear offset on RS is much greater due to wide body.

They will fit an RS, but will be more tucked in the than your stock wheels. Hence they are not the idea fitment for an RS. Keep in mind that an RS has the same fenders as a regular GT3 (or even a base Carrera). The tacked on fender flares are really just for stone protection. Any wheel that fits the front of an RS will fit the front of a regular GT3. It is the rear that is really different with the wider rear fenders allowing use of a lower offset wheel.

Spoke to Forgeline. Wheels were originally made for DeMan Motorsports and to fit 997.2 GT3.

Fronts are 18x9, offset 51
Rears are 18x12, offset 57

Hope this helps.
