As long as Dave leaves the keys ...

There is another GR GT3 there right now along with some other interesting machinery.

Would need a couple of feet of height. Only about 10' inside.

Ack - not yet ... Getting my head wrapped around the GT3 first. Movin on to selling the cab in earnest next.

Simply meant that the cost of a stacker would make sense if I was keeping it.

Just catching up on my reading... Congratulations Dave! Sounds like a great score.

Now you need to ask Peter about the "safety" mods that you need.

Rear toe links and working diff are the most important IMO.

For now IMO, seat time and learning what this sweet car has to offer, both on the street and track is the best safety mod.....

Have fun with it as a street car first, as you get up to speed on the track. The 997 GT3 does both VERY nicely.... in the beginning!

Then it's all down hill.... for safety!!!

And yes the list is a very long (...... And fun, expensive, street-ability removing,...... but stay focused on the fun part!!!) list.

Default On its Way to Canada!

Can left Orange COunty, CA early saturday morning. It was much harder to see it go than I thought. I feel better knowing its going to a great guy! Enjoy in good health.

I hope that Dave doesn't see these pictures before going to bed, cause there's going to be a lot of tossing and turning...

Thanks Mark for the great photos - seeing the car way up there gives me the heeby-jeebies !

Well the only mods I will commit to for now are the DRL, clear side lights and changing the speedo to km.

I do have a tow-hook mount lic plate holder and a set of front intake screens on order from Rennline.

The plan for now is NOT to do the buckets/rollbar/harness thing anytime soon. This is still gonna be our "date night" car for a while. I might enjoy watching it but I don't think my wife would be very happy getting in and out of the buckets with a short skirt

But I did buy this car with a view to it making more sense on the track than the cab. So at some point in the future the "safety" mods may come.

Dave
