Technically, I traded in the car at the dealer and the money from that was used to buyout the lease early, all done through my lease broker. Dropped off the keys for one, picked up the keys for the other, and he took care of the rest.

I've driven the car on the street and at Watkins Glen and it is a wonderful and very capable machine. I'd think about it myself, but am not yet ready to give up the GT3 cup.

Lol. If it's a rare color like blue (Mexico/Riviera or even Aqua) I would be even more tempted. But, it still has the options that I really like, dynamic lights, front lift kit and clear bra tho. Wonder if it has leather dash and DEM also. Don't care about bluetooth, XM and lighted logo etc

No leather dash, Dynamic Engine Mounts were standard on the RS. The leather dash looks cool but is actually quite a pain after a while as it gets nicks on the surface easily. I had extended leather in my old GT3 and thought I'd miss it in this one but I really don't. In fact, I've grown to prefer it without, less maintenance and less to worry about.

DEM - dynamic engine mounts are standard on the 997.2 GT3 RS.

There has to be a payoff for the car, in which case you can payoff the car or have a bank finance the payoff for you. If taxes were paid in advance, and residual is only $25k at lease end, the pay schedule is very aggressive. If OP has made 16 payments, then he's paid about $40,500 out of the $152,400 ($2534 x 60) which should make the payoff in the 110 -125 range depending on the money factor.

there is interest.

the buyout is less than the total remaining payments.

OK, I've had requests for interior pics so here goes. As you can see, the interior is basically as new. I forgot how gorgeous the carbon fiber seats were. Also highlighted are two of my favorite electronic gizmos: 1) the real time tire pressure readings which are super valuable on the track and highly accurate 2) the Ipod connection for when you are driving on the street.

Other comments, seats are shown with harnesses and with harnesses pushed out of the way for the street when you just want to use the 3 point belt, takes a minute to do and makes life more comfortable on the street.

Harness bar is attached to rear strut tower and I have showed the rather substantial foot plate for the floor. I have the original trim piece for the back which can be cut to cover that exposed area but I wanted to keep it uncut in case someone wanted it out and completely stock.

Harnesses are hans 3 to 2" for hans device but passenger is a full 3" in case your passenger doesn't have or want hans device.

Sport chrono some people don't like but I think looks cool (it lights up when you turn it on and night) and while completely useless at a lap timer, I will let it run while I'm out and sometimes use it to tell me how much longer there is in a session.

One exterior disclosure. I had a piece of debris (a plastic front splitter from another car) hit the lower rocker panel on the drivers side and push it in. There was no damage to the paint and I was hoping it could be fixed with paintless dent removal. I had someone try and while they were able to push it out some, they couldn't smooth it out. To be done properly, the panel would need to be repainted but I didn't necessarily want to do that so people realize it hasn't been in an accident. I am showing a before and after picture of it. There is also a little rubber piece that hangs down back there too but it doesn't seem to cause any problems so I have left it there. Neither of these things bothered me too much but the new owner can decide whether to pocket the savings or fix. I will discount the price of the car $1500 for whoever buys it and they can fix it or not as they choose. This would put the price at $119,300.

I was also asked how much all of the interior and track parts were. The parts include front and rear drop links, rear toe links with locking plate, weather and dust booties for the ball joints, harness bar powder coated red, brey krause mount with fire extinguisher, harness bar collars, harnesses, and brey krause sub mounts. Parts alone for all of this was over $4000 plus the labor to install. In you include labor, all the alignments to get it tweaked, and clear bra to protect the car, I spent close to $10,000 getting the car track ready. I would include in the sale all of the above for $2000 (really a bargain) or I can remove them and sell the car for the previously mentioned price with out them. As she sits in the pictures then, ready to hit the track and be FAST, the cost is $121,300. I have many other spares which can be discussed, hoosiers, brake pads, caliper bolts, extra wheels, torque wrench, etc... which I will offer to new owner at highly discounted prices as well.
