So I did hear back from the tow truck company. We did settle 50% of my deductible, so I'm out $150 instead of $300 on the windshield. Everything looks good for a Wed evening retrieval of my car. Some welcomed news this morning.

I saw this happen at Mid-Ohio several years ago. Fortunately the arm came loose in a slow corner with no traffic. The car suffered a small fracture in the fender, fiberglass. The shop stood behind everything including towing.

Randy, I agree with you 110%. I have only found 1 shop I truly trust, they paint mark and check every Nut (well maybe not the one behind the wheel) and they aren't a Porsche shop, BMW shop.

Well - another minor detour today. Was going to pick up the car and Barrier said their alignment rack was down,... (really?!). So, they've taken my car over to Cantrell Motorsports and they have just completed the alignment.

Can't wait to pick it up with everything back to normal and drive back up to Vancouver tonight!

I hear great things about Cantrell (many RLers recommended me there for a good shop in the Bellevue area) and I'm glad I get a chance to meet some of the people there!

Colin is a great guy! I would trust him before i would trust Barrier to do any work on my car.

Any word from Fordahl?? Those guys have a lot of experience and a pretty good reputation...

+1 for Barrier Porsche Service Department and Andrew Staffeld.

He knew I was in a rush to get the car to head back up to Vancouver. He sent the alignment to get done at Cantrell to be ready the same day he promised me (their alignment rack suddenly went down). Since I don't have a working car, he had his porter run to my God-parent's place to pick me up and drop me off at Cantrell without any additional charge. I really did appreciate this from Barrier Porsche. THANK YOU!

Also had a chance to meet Colin at Cantrell. Great to see a shop specializing in GT3's and a real full service shop. I will be going to him from now on when down in the US.

As for Fordahl, I have not yet heard back from Greg or Randy, but I have not called back after I dealt with Barrier Porsche and the tow truck on Sunday. No proof that it is Fordahl's fault - so I'm not blaming.

very classy! Easy to blame them and flame them, not like others that have taken shots at other shops in this thread.
