But you will get a 2010 with 15k miles (5k of which are track) w/o PBBC but maybe a good alignment, a roll bar and some track pads

I am willing to pay high end of market price...which most say is $115-$130k...for the car I want. But I will not pay $145-$155k as some dealers are asking.

I was at Hennessy on Monday; there are at least 2 black 4.0s on the lot, one was in the back in PDI (I was told), the other was getting a clear bra in the delivery area next to a 2RS. Nice to see one in black after all the white ones pictured here.
My guess is that the alleged markups are due to the cars being used and on consignment. A regular customer orders and buys the car new, puts a few hundred miles on it, consigns it back to the dealer, then dealer and original buyer split the amount it sells over its original sale price.

Good Lord ! Doesn't anyone read ???!!!
See posts # 13 & 16. Hennessy cars were NOT sold for over MSRP, and are not used and on consignment. Both cars delivered to the original owners that ordered them at (or below) MSRP. Fact
Cant speak to the Isringhausen car though some credible folks are saying they have been offered cars for over MSRP at that dealer

Then how did OP determine the "nice markup at 212k and 207k" he wrote about in post #1?

2011
GT3RS
PCCB
Less than 1.5k miles (prefer under 1k)
Consider all std colors, prefer white, NO Black cars ever
No track or track mods
thanks

Gentlemen,
I was mistaken and I apologize. I said "nice mark up" without realizing the 185k plus , plus option, etc. Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part.

I found one with very similar specs, but with 2100 miles. The car is a 2010 and paid $130 k for the car. I looked everywhere and did not find them at 115k with the options you specify.

Off topic, try a WTB thread in the classifieds section. As others have said, there are zero functional differences between model years for the .2 RS other than the digit after the 201, not to mention there is nothing about track use that should decrease the value in a car that was specifically designed for dual street/track duty.

I would have a hard time waiting 25 years or more for that car to rise in value. I rather buy into a known classic car that holds value now vs thinking it will go up on value. Mike

very well said!
there are guys who collect xo cognacs and never drink them; just look at the pretty bottles all lined up on that mahogany shelf....
it's a crying shame not to enjoy them.
i'm very happy that savy is tracking his 4.0, hopefully it will get a cage soon.
