That's still a 911. A special 911 but a 911 nonetheless.

I kissed it, licked it, sat in it, drove it (in my dreams that last part) and loved the magnesium wheels heh... Just hearing it buzz by me on the front straight a few feet away was... I don't know? It was better than when the Gulf Blue 917 (with a dodgy gearbox) stalled and almost plowed over my Piloti shoe/foot. That would have been PDK for life

Aye that engine... it got me started with thinking I know my 996TT engine can make more than 415hp But I love any/all GT1 equally. They make me weak at the knees.

And if anyone says they don't like the 996-ified version because of the "boxster" lights I'm going to huff and puff!

I actually find the 996 first gen lights to be a work of genius. I love them and prefer them to the boring circle.

They won't let me in there for fear of turning up the boost with my laptop! But yes I've heard and seen pictures. I have to go...

I looked at buying one of these a few years ago, after calls from the racing department to the vendor, the vendor wanted 20,000 to look at it! After a lot of words beginning with F and lots of imbecile and idiot, and my pointing out the vendor was flat broke, had far too many Vipers and was likely to choke on his domestic 'Patriot' fries, I drove several hundred miles and looked at the car at a neutral location - at half the price it might have been a possibility, but it was in a sorry state, even for a race car. It was a pity it was destined for a nice collection in NA. I don't make a habit of this sort of thing, but this was a bit special.
