Okay, so if you don't have a quantity requirement, yet you want people to commit. Perhaps you should find out the requirement before asking. I personally would buy two pairs (four tires), but that is neither here nor there. It's been my experience that Michelin will do small quantity runs if you know the right person to ask. Luke at the Tire Rack also knows of several people who want this size Super Sport, so perhaps you should get in contact with him to consolidate your numbers.

The snarky response doesn't change the fact you started a thread with a half baked idea that doesn't have any real world use. I guess the bottom line is we're all going to wait for the tires to appear in 2012.

This thread can however have real world use if the response is overwelming and used the beat the slow Mischelin Frenchies over the head with.
Your idea of consolidating numbers with the Tirerack giant is an excellent idea, clearly Larry Cable should figured that out all by himself.
