a sharkwerks bi-pass will provide you with a nice clean lightweight center muffler delete.

the two remaining side mufflers will allow you to maintain sport button.

keep your factory center muffler when you go to sell the car some day.......

I would urge you to wait and see how it sounds OE. You might be pleasantly surprised. I was considering a full Akropovic but have changed my mind after driving it. It is pretty loud in Sport mode.

Lets compare apples to apples

The stock GT3RS system is the same as the 3.8RS system and it works fine

For those of you who want improved sound and performance we have a proper solution

GMG WC header and cat section- direct bolt on replacement system no modifications.
Complete before and after Dyno tests coming as soon as the 4.0 arrives... Already a proven improvement on the 3.8RS.

GMG WC sport center section a properly engineered and functional center section not just a muffler bypass. Also a proven part in competition on the World Challenge GT cars..
This is not a simple muffler delete that divorces left and right cylinder bank but a engineered center section that retains the right amount of back pressure the engine needs and provides the same charectoristics that the stock secondary muffler does. Sound is further enhanced by the built in megaphone design which goes from 3" to 3.5" tips.

** Bumper removal is NOT required to install the GMG WC center section.

What ever you decide to do leave the stock mufflers as they are and do not replace them after testing and testing and more testing of various configurations we have found that the stock mufflers work best on these cars.

I'm curious about this claim as it seems to suggest that other bypass systems aren't properly engineered and/or don't retain the right amount of back pressure. There doesn't seem much to differentiate the various center section bypass offerings (Sharkwerks, RSS, GMG) when I examine them other than tip size/configuration and material. I'd really be interested in the details behind the claim.

Thanks.
