I'll be there all three days, and would like to meet up with some Rennlisters... There is a lengthy thread on the 993 board with about 50 Rennlisters "committed" to the event, but no one has planned a gathering other than "meet at some bar on the back deck"...

never thought about other forums/models ... probably keeping it to GT3 makes sense if for no other reason than to keep any meetup logistics managable!

Getting the GT3 / RennList guys together would be a great idea. Tarpy's Roadhouse is very close to the track, on the way in to town, has good food and an outdoor deck.
Many folks who have been to the track know where it is. I called them and it looks like the deck is available for Friday Oct 14th. If we had some solid commitments I would be willing to set it up.
PS- If we decide to do this, wouldn't it be necessary to get some sort of identifier tags with names and screen names to identify everyone? Otherwise is going to be hit or miss unless you already know someone.

I'm in for whatever... at the track or otherwise. Will be there with my buddy Justin (RL-ister) and our spouses. Have to leave the Porsches at home though:-(
