Then the quote I got from Orbit is off. Eduardo quoted me just under $100 for the complete front and rear stud/nut kit. Maybe that's why his communication skills are lacking (no replies to emails without contacting multiple times).

LVDell, similar prob and my quote consisted of 2 front studs and 2 rears, clearly not enough studs so I went local and got them through the dealer here...

Yeah, Chris, totally gave up on Eduardo at Orbit. Nothing I hate more than a flake when you are trying to spend money!

Anyway, I didn't even think about it, but my local dealer has a PMNA account. I called my contact at the dealer and he ordered them the same day. I should have them early next week since they are coming from Cali.

What a novel idea right? Talk to a vendor. Tell them what you want. They get it ordered the same day. If only more vendors could follow that new strategy.

Curious what was your US pricing?.... Mine was CDN.

$180 for all four corners which includes the studs and nuts. Apparently the studs are made out of unobtanium

Glad you got them sorted out Dell! They are well worth the effort considering by rights one is suppose to change bolts with each caliper removal and they are a good $80-90 themselves for front and back... Studs will pay themselves off in no time and the risk of stripping costly uprights will be a thing of the past

I try to explain that to my wife about parts for the car "paying themselves off" and she never buys that argument

Dell, tell her you know someone that ripped the caliper bolt out of the knuckle under heavy braking...and was lucky the entire corner of the car didn't blow out. It is a safety improvement.

Just an update to the pricing. Just ordered the entire kit (4 front, 4 rear, 8 nuts) and the pricing is ~$170-200 for everything which is ~$21-25 per stud/nut combo.

This is CURRENT (4/2012) pricing and the 170-200 is depending on who you order from as the PMNA pricing margin is VERY SMALL for resellers so they markup as they see fit.

Looks like the ~$33 CDN per nut/bolt pricing I got either covers expensive transportation or markup is a little on the high side...
