When I had my cargraphic 3pc wheels, they wanted $7 a bolt to repair them, plus 2 hours of labor for assembly and diss assembly on each wheel (total 8 hours). On all four wheels, it was going to be $. I sold them.

I'm planning on a GA3R's for the track (which I just received) and GA1's (GA1R's with centercaps) for the street. Both in 19" sizes.

Cheers!

We need to charge more to repair wheels! Just kidding. When rebuilding a Fikse wheel we charge 1.00 for a bolt and actual time, usually around .50 hours per wheel.....

I have yet to bend one of my "el-cheapo" lightweight cast ARC-8 wheels on my other track car, and that's abusing them on big curbs and dropping wheels on corners....how exactly are people bending forged 1 piece wheels?

If I bend my C14's, I'm doing something really wrong.

Agreed. But I was bending my 3 piece wheels like crazy and all four were leaking air. I don't know if they were bending more easily because of the 3 piece design or it was just the material itself. On top of it, they cost a fortune to begin with. Personally I prefer less parts with my wheels at this point. Now if I had a full time crew with tons of spare parts and an unlimited budget, the 3 piece wheels would definitely be more economical over time for sure. The quote I got to repair my cargraphics from RSS was enough to make me move to a one piece wheels. Probably not the best example as far as costs goes, as the CG stuff is way over priced. I'm sure the US made stuff is probably a lot less expensive to service.
