Ric Knab just emailed me with photos of the first .2 gt3 RS 4.0 Limited Edition alcantara Sport Design wheels with red band at 12 o'clock that has arrived at Suncoast Porsche parts. He ordered it on a whim two months ago! A little pricey compared to the .1 gt3 RS wheel I got from him in March. This one doesn't have red stitching (found in US bound 4.0's) but it does have the red alcantara band! If anybody here at Rennlist is interested, please get in touch with him ASAP. He has only one right now! Tell Ric that Eduardo referred you to him.

Wow, that red stripe alone costs $420! GTS wheel, same as GT3 RS 4.0 w/o red stripe is $420 less.

If it were me, I would just get it custom done by dsv customs or something. It will look identical, and will probably be $1200 less....

How do you plan to ensure that you mount them in the right place, at the right angle, and matching on either side in the absence of a template?

I bring it to Orbit and they will figure it out. I'm sure Rodger will send me a dissertation, but those have too many words in them for me to read.

pls post your findings ... I assume that at some point the dealers will get the mounting templates from the factory for maintainence
