Default Car will not start from first attempt

These days my 2010 GT3 most of the time will not start the engine from the first attempt. Means when I press the clutch and the gear in nature and turn the ignition, all cluster lights will work but no ignition. Sometimes if I waited for 3-4 seconds the ignition will start and sometimes not and when I return the key to 0 to restart I got depress the clutch.

Have any of you faced such a case

Could be a ground as well. The ground to the engine/tranny seems to loosen. Mike

They have changed a faulty switch connected to the clutch under warranty and it is fine now

faulty clutch switches have been a problem on the 997s.
if you are stranded, it is the switch closest to the clutch pad.
there are 2 wires going into the switch, take those out of the switch, and use 1 wire to bridge the
2 connections in the switch.
THEN MAKE SURE THE CAR IS IN NEUTRAL WHEN YOU START...or she will fly!

You mean to do short circuit so the car will start without pressing the clutch, good idea in case if it fail and you are in hurry

that is what I mean...it will start & take off if you don't have the clutch in or neutral!
