Another thing to note is that they make 2 different versions for porsches. A normal up graded radiator for GT3's & a 24hr version for cup/RSR's etc. I believe the only difference besides the price which again is nuts is the thickness of the core's. I'm not sure which one RS use.

Another thing is that do RS tuning use the same radiators for the NA and Turbo cars together? or are the cores diffrent?

I have been told that the GT2RS comes with centre rads with proper aluminium end tanks like the cup cars (rather than the plastic production ones) can anyone confirm ?

Hi James,

Hopefully I'll be at the next one. Would be good to meet up with a fellow rennlister.

Cheers

Hi Karol , Nice to see you here on the real forum

Regarding your radiator , did you only change the middle one? and which one did you go for because there are diffrent options?

Regards

pwr offers upgraded radiators, same as porsche motorsport department but only for gt3 cars.

middle radiator I believe can by easily adapted for gt2 and turbo.

Hi 997 tt/rs,

Does PWR also sell the radiators for the 997 GT3 RSR 2011?

PWR make the rad for Porsche it is part 997.106.037.8E or PWR part 6001 listed for 997 GT3R, Cup S and Cup but as Karol says can be modded to fit turbo/GT2...... cost approx £800GPB from PWR Europe.

Toby, Do you think the PWR rad will really make a diffrence in keeping things cooler? can you confirm it is the same as RS tuning recomends for our Turbo engines..??

Mo, Karol is right about the 8DegC number but as I posted earlier the gauge will not change it will read 90DegC from about 80degC to 110degC real......
