OT: "Your Porsche is for farming? No Way"
The following is on the front page of the business section (LA Times):

"To get insurance discounts, cheaters claim they use their cars for agriculture."
Jerry Hirsch goes on to write: "It turns out that some drivers of these cars are perpetrating an insurance fraud."
“Some clients lie about how they are using a car, and some brokers cheat to cut premiums to win business, he said. "Every company is different and how much time they spend validating or underwriting is different, so that it is possible that a Porsche could get through as a farm vehicle," Moraga said, adding that the auto insurance industry loses billions of dollars annually to frauds and misrepresentations.”
Wait a minute... Have you ever heard of the Porsche-Diesel Tractor Registry? Take a gander, for your own edification.

IMO this goes far beyond reporters being ignorant of facts. They have taken generalized statistical data and created lies about the dishonesty of Porsche owners. This is in total disregard of the fact that the data represent Porsche tractors, not sports cars.
