WTB: 997.2 GT3RS
Hi my RENNLIST friends,
Just sold my C4S with PDK, so I am looking now for a 997.2 GT3 RS:
- No PCCB, no NAV
- Sports Chrono acceptable, but not needed
- Gray/red not possible (my friend has this color combination), I prefer white/red
Blue/red also workable, but not preferred
- Must be low mileage (less than 5K miles) and in pristine condition
- US$ 115,000.00 or less (if MSRP was around $ 132K, it means, sale price of used vehicle should be around $ 115K or less) - My numbers are reasonable
Thanks in advance for any leads !

I have been looking for quite a while in all the usual places(autotrader.com, cars.com, ebay) and have not seen an asking price lower than 129. Except for texasviany on rennlist who at one time was asking 122. I think he went up on asking to keep wholesalers from bothering him.
I don't own one now and never have but I would be surprised especially if you got one for less than 115.

I thought about it, but I want a virgin
Most of these cars for sale are priced around $ 129K -- It all depends on the original build and total price
I saw already a white one at Hennessy Porsche with 4100 miles -- Its MSRP was $ 133K; the car should be costing now $ 115K or less
There are many GT3 RS for sale now and more to come, so, it's just a matter of time in finding the right one for me

And it will be a matter of time before you find one at 115. I'm sure hennessy will not be selling theirs at that price. They will sell a used car for more than the msrp, and that's a fact

Gotta say 3.8 Rs is a great value. I remember the feeding frenzy with the 7.1 Rs. 7.1 Rs has it's merit though being the 1st in the US but 3.8 Rs got the goods performancewise which speaks volumes for me. Mike

Very tempting :P
To the OP: It is unfortunately very hard to find low option GT cars around Most cars that are for sale are spec'ed by dealers and therefore have many unnecessary options and the price is high. It will be hard to find a mkII RS for $115k but if you wait until the 4.0 arrives, the prices should drop.

If I remember correctly, they just did a price drop, just a short time ago, which is why I think that the strike price is around 100. I know oif the owner, he is meticulous with all of his toys. This one has no stories, no BS.......worth a look? The shop is a good group of guys and they have it on consignment for the owner.

Mine stickered for 160. It is paint to sample though, In time one can be had for 115K. Oats are always cheaper after they have been thru the horse.
