I think for a stripper .2 RS, you'll be lucky to find a nice example for $120k. The ones with options will probably be $130-135k. You can always wait. I really don't see the 4.0 dropping the prices of the 3.8 any further.
good luck with the search and be sure to tell us about the great find, when that does happen

If I remember correctly, they just did a price drop, just a short time ago, which is why I think that the strike price is around 100. I know oif the owner, he is meticulous with all of his toys. This one has no stories, no BS.......worth a look? The shop is a good group of guys and they have it on consignment for the owner.

In terms of pricing, for context, consider that a new car buyer either takes a GT3 or RS "off the rack" or their only option to order a new car is the GTS -- basically a wide body Carrera S with power kit -- at around $115K.
As for a 3.8 RS at $115K, there just isn't the market at that price. They might be changing hands at that number in a private party sale or a dealer trade-in -- and I think that was about the "floor" during winter, but today -- and now the 4.0 RS influence on the market is in effect -- if anything, I'd encourage a serious buyer to look at a car like that one at Hennessy:

Very hard to find a real "stripper" like that car. Mine is a "stripper" of sorts, but has PCCBs and the lightweight battery (and lightweight headlights) so it's nowhere near that $130K price range (more like $150K) ... in other words, it's hard to find anything below that $130K price and 4K miles, I would argue, is still "fresh oats." : )

That one in Hennessy is a good RS with no BS options on it
Though the price is fairly high for such a car. I'm sure you can get it for $120k!
I dunno why but the silver mkI is calling my name

No, I won't and can't do it. Can't afford to anyways...
You miss this car because you don't have radio in the new one and the exhaust is annoying on the street![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
I don't know what it is about this car but the interior seems a bit too fancy for a track car. It may be the leather interior, navigation and sunroof.
The thing I like about this particular RS is no BS options (no options at all!
), no extra dead weight. A true street legal track car
The color is right too...
There is definitely something about the .1 GT3/RS that appeals to me much, much more than the .2

The exhaust is give or take, it sounds perfect on the track, just shift around the drone on the street
The non RS GT3 is geared better for the street and doesnt draw so much attention...........I might switch one day

What do you mean you may switch? You mean sell the RS and buy a non-RS GT3?
