Default Sebring Chin Event

Sin911, I was driving the the white GT3RS in front of you in your second video. I remembered you behind me during that session. I thought you did a really good job running around that track especially in the heat. My best lap during that session was right at 2:26. I felt that in some corners I was breaking earlier but carrying more exit speed than you. You always found a way to keep it close. I have a lot to learn but I think you are being a bit hard on yourself. During the PCA DE event in March, I hired Chris Hall for a session on the track. His times around the track in my car was 2:26. I compared his track times with my track data this past weekend, and I was dead on his entire data except for turns 15 and 16. I think i still need some improvement thru there. Makes sure you stop by and say hi when we are at the next track event. Save driving.

Joe, I headed into your direction to check out the car and say hello after that session. I didn't see you around. I saw you were running on Hoosier R6, nice!

I was trying to keep up with you dude, didn't know you were running on R6. I would've given up if I had known

When Chris did 2:26, what tires was the car running on? I'd expect somewhere around 2:21-22 with Hoosiers

Red group had all the guys I knew running there: you, Mike, Eddie, Sir Spinsalot. Blue group only had Nick and Peter...

Thanks for the video Greek...always a blast hanging with you, Sir Spin, Randy Eddie, Sin, Peter and everyone else. I could do this every weekend...LOL

That video was the last lap at Sebring with the "Lowly" Carrera...The Red Bullet. I ran out of gas and had to pit...dang it. Next time will be in the GTS and I should be even better and properly strapped in...can't wait!

When Chris ran my car, I was using the same set of R6s. I have around 35 heat cycles on the this set and I think I am about done. I can't wait to put on a new set because I think I can drop a second or two off my current times. As far as trading cars, I'll keep mine. I kinda like mine. Too bad we missed each other. I would have enjoyed trading notes.

I'm quite shocked that Chris was doing about 2:26 in a mkII RS on R6!

With fresh tires you should be able to knock off a few more seconds, 35 HC is a lot! I'm glad you weren't on fresh tires cause I could never keep up then

Rad, I dunno.
Mike might be real close.

A pro driver like Chris hall and the likes will certainly drive at least 3 or more seconds faster, add to that a second or 2 for R6 and you are at 2:15/2:16 on a perfect day.

Slicks are another 2-3 seconds faster still.
I'm talking ideal world open track '10 RS on a nice 35F cold day with fresh everything..

Chris Hall did 2:19 with a 250lb passenger in a '07 GT3 on not super fresh slicks on lap 3 first time in that car..
The RS is 2 seconds faster and no passenger is also good for 2 seconds...

That's a BIG passenger hehe but the 10 RS is AT LEAST 2 seconds faster probably an easy 3 on 2 minute plus course. It was 5 plus seconds faster on the Grand East course at VIR when car and driver did their testing. I know different day etc.... but that's a huge difference on a 3 minute course.

35 heat cycles WOW

I get 12 (2 seconds off on VIR F course at this point) in the rear and 20 in the front before the tires are no longer doing much of anything and the same goes for rmag. Rmag will sometimes even bring two sets of R6s to get through a 3 day event but he gives lots of rides and doesn't like going slow

That's because you and Rmag run in a different pace than us
