Rennlisters in Shanghai?
Getting ready to head to China and will be spending the weekend in Shanghai. Any of you guys hang out there? Suggestions on things to do/restaurants would be appreciated!

^ I'll second that. Also try http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/shanghai/
Depends what you're in to. There are some nice clubs on the Bund (Bar Rouge, Lounge 18). M1NT is cool - that's where all the F1 guys hang out after the Shanghai GP.
Check out the bar on the 91st floor of the World Financial Center. Cool views on a clear night. I would avoid the overpriced restaurant on the level below.
Maya is my favorite restaurant there - great Spanish/Mexican food.

Thanks, everyone for the tips. Just landed at Narita. Almost there. Hell week for sure - Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai.
It's been 15 years since I've been to China. Looking forward to experiencing all the change that has occurred.

You should have seen it "back in the day" - truly the wild west (or east).
China is still the only country that I have entered by all transport methods - by foot (from HK), boat (HK - Star Ferry), plane, and car(again HK) and train (you guessed it - HK!).

Been to Shanghai a couple times in the past 6 years. Amazing place. Makes NYC seem like a suburb. Surprisingly, despite how crowded and crazy the traffic is, I saw a lot of Porsches there.
Have a great time. I'm jealous!

Will be back in town Tuesday. Looking forward to a great weekend at RA.
BTW, BIG props to Shangra-La Pudong. Unbelievable service and views of the Bund.
