FYI:
Auto Haus, Burnt Hill, NY has a Silver, Black Stripe low miles GT3RS on consignment. Supposedly the only Silver with Black in the US (not that that is worth a premium). Owner (of the car), has a bunch of toys and not in any hurry to dump this one, but might be worth a look? No stories, and the shop is owned by great people. I would reccomend them to anyone who is looking.

Nice car.....minus the red stitching and wart....puke

I say buy the orange one for 85K....

Shocks, 4.0 conversion and you are still less than a new RS and will give all your friends hell

To me the biggest advantage to a steel brake .1 GT3 is the smaller brake rotors up front. Much cheaper cost to run than a .2

$110k for the silver one? Wow! That is basically a no-option car (minus the red stitching on the seats and wart). Those guys must be nutz!!!

I love the silver/black combo but wouldn't pay such a premium for a no-option car (even though I prefer no option)

Well, it has $6K in options -- I'm guessing the original buyer didn't think that was "zero." In any case, the asking price is a reflection of the low miles.

Even if this car ends up changing hands at $85K, the dealer has to start with margin in the deal to afford an inflated trade-in price or other obstacles (tires, CPO from a local Porsche dealer ... things the buyer should be putting on the table.)

If it's a consignment deal, the owner is making the mistake of asking the price they want instead of what the market will bear -- this car could languish for months at this price, wasting the resources of the dealer and perhaps helping other dealers sell against this high price point.

Seller seems willing to throw in the as new original seats as well, although we have not had a full discussion on that.
I went looking for white before my orange RS.

The orange was the best deal at the time and once i saw it in person i loved it. Im happy with the orange as it represents the model very well. Even the green would have been fun.

Sucks for a daily driver color however

I wanted white to mimic the Cup car and to see an all white interior after i gutted it for racing.

Dont be afraid of the orange. Looks great at the track and in the garage. Eapecially 10 years from now.

The Carrera GT seats are carbon fiber and do not recline. They were offered on euro clubsport cars. The new GT3 seats are the GT2 style buckets that recline foward.

Carrera GT seat look the best and are the lightest. But i perfer GT2 seats that access the rear since i road trip alot.

Used Carrera GT seats are worth 5k tops to me.

Tequipment bar with harness is worth 2500.00 installed tops.

So 7500.00 in extras maxx on used market.

105k would be a good purchase and track ready.

It's because of the side airbags. The folding buckets still retain them.

FWIW, that Silver car has been for sale for quite some time. yeah the super low milage adds a bit to it but also downside to a car that is 4 years old and has not been used. 100K is my take on that car.

I think $6k of options is low for a RS Considering all the full leather, PCCB, nav options we see on most cars...

I'd love an orange one! If most people weren't asking the stupid price of $105-110k and asking reasonable $90k then I may have gotten one

Here's my color choice for mkI RS:

1-Orange
2-White
3-Silver

kmeighannj: you might know about this site, if you do, sorry for the redundancy but if not it's a very good tool for seeing what was built during GT3RS production. it is not all of the cars built but it's many of them.
