Saw a tour-egg this weekend - diesel, real nice inside and a 7700 lbs tow capacity. ~$50k. It will be my wife's next car when we come out if the MDX lease.

Mike If you can live with a MB, there are a ton of +/- 35K mile 2008/9 MB ML320CDI's CPO for sale. We bought my brother an R320CDI for $31K about 4 months ago. They come with 5 year 100K warranty, for a couple of thousand you get 7 years 135K warranty.

That's how I bought my wife's last 3 cars and my brothers last 2.

They do not get a lot better milage than the gassers though, maybe 25-27MPG. They drive nice though, but unless you drive a LOT, I would go gas.

ML 350's cost the same new and are about 5K less. by example. That's a lot of gas.

Or just buy a dirt cheap one and get a non MB warranty like Easycare:

Go a bit bigger:

Will do HPDE 4 Could run TT but I don't think the 6GT3 would be real competitive in TTS with street tires.

Quick update

- We registered and paid for all the events and booked most hotel nights:
Autobahn Country Club July 9+10
Road America PCA 11+12
Mosport 14
Mid Ohio 15-16-17
Watkins Glen 18+19

- We're both getting the PFC dimpled front rotors and we will have 3 sets of worn front OEM rotors and 1 set of OEM rear rotors with us as spares.

- Running PFC08 pads and we will take 1 extra set each with us, they won't last 10 days. We will see how far they go. I am adding front brake ducts next week, but I don't think they are really needed at those tracks. Nothing Like Sebring PBIR and Homestead. I think the brake parts manufacturers designed these brake killer tracks down here

- Cars are both Dyno'd for the fun of it, bit Dyno'ed at about 420HP, so that looks good as well.

- Tires: Toyo 18" RA1 245F and 335R. We each will have 2 sets mounted on rims and we will have about 6 rears and 2 fronts each to mount.

I hope there is still room for a beer cooler

Both cars' allignment is the same, the only difference will be the LSD and brake ducts that I have, but Izzone is thinking about doing that as well.

I have room for the Beer @ Autobahn and RA. I just need 1 set of pads, new Cobalt XR2's, and AD08 tires. Trailer is getting new bearings, tires, and tow vehicle gets oil change.

You 2 are going to have a blast! I am anxouis to hear how the PFC08's do compared to the Pagid RS29 Yellows you've been using. I am ready for new pads and need to decide what to get next. I've been using Pagid for years an woul dlike to try something different.

I told you that I tried RBF 600 in my 996 tt, and didn't like it. I have been using SRF on the GT2. Would be nice if you guys could use the same fluid also.
Give me a call tomorrow I think I can help you with that if you need.
