Default 997.1 GT3 Price Speculation Over next 12 months

Curious as to anyone's idea of what .1 GT3's will be/should be selling for 12 months from now given the speculated .2 price hits. Speculation only, but some of the .1's I see for sale in the 90's make me chuckle a bit. Will be in the market for one in a 12-month time frame.

As one might expect there will be a gradual decrease as the cars are one year older. The usual major value decrease, besides after the 1st owner, is when a car exits its warranty period. All 2007 GT3's are already out of warranty, so that decrease in value has already occurred. Using 996 GT3's as a reference can indicate where 997 GT3's will be in 2-3 Years.
I would guess that prices are not going to adjust very much since GT3 and GT3 RS production has ceased for about 3 years (4.0 RS excluded). Therefore the market might be a little firmer since no new models are being introduced. I don't think the 4.0 RS will have any effect since its priced much higher.

So, an '07 GT3 should be in the high 60s to low 70s depending on options, and mi etc. is my expectation.

what do you think that they will be around oct-nov of this year? that is when I might be able to buy one. I agree the ones in the 90's seem really out of touch with reality

Good luck

With no new production under $185k I think prices will stabilize

I doubt it they just look too much better than the 6. I think that prices will drop some more though just in smaller increments, since the car will be 5 yrs old soon...I hope to get a clean one for around $75K at the end of the year

I dont think that will EVERY happen. Why? the 997 Looks too classic with the better look over mainly due to the headlamps. Not only that but the 997 interior is much better sunroof or not.

Plus its also possible that regardless of the sunroof or not, unless your Patrick Long, a sunroof or not will NEVER amount to any time difference amongst us regular track buddies. No one with us have any talent at that level.
Given that both the cars are seam welded the sunroof is just a big hulabaloo of nothing at any of local track level drivers. The sunroof is an over blown issue unless you are just too tall for the thing and you need the delete to get in.
