Not sure where you get cheaper in Europe idea - the exchange rate is currently 1.39 euros to the dollar.

505.75 Euros = $702.99

TireRack price for the same N2 spec tire is is $698.00. TireCrawler price for the N0 is $583.86.

And according to the sites, they have plenty.

And now we're back to $1.35, but for some reason I feel these tires got 40% more expensive, not 4% cheaper.

I'm quite fond of my MPSC's... does anyone know the difference between non-N spec, N0, N1 and N2?

I did 22 days or so on these rear MPSC N1s. Pretty good life span.

read earlier in the thread. there is a discussion on the differences. N0 are cheaper now because close out for 997.1. N1s are expensive, for 997.2. N2s are for GT2RS I believe.

Spoke with Tire Rack. All they know is they are different, but they aren't told what the difference in compound, etc is.

I've got N1's at the rear and non-N spec at the front. I get the feeling the non-N spec are grippier...

Did you used to have N1 up front? and now you like the non-N better?

No, never had N1's up front. Semi-slicks are so hard to find and are so expensive that I took the first set of tires I could find, and they happened to be that.
