Default Source for total GT2/GT3/Turbo S production numbers (NA and RoW)?

I'm a newb and did a few searches. :-) Didn't find info. :-(

I'm looking for USA/RoW total production numbers for Turbo, Turbo S, GT2, and GT3/RS for all 930/964/993/996/997 by MY. Is there any central source that has these numbers compiled?

Any/all help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You could search for posts by mjones.
You could call PCNA and ask them to help.
Some market value magazines compile these sorts of numbers (at a price.) Perhaps www.pmletter.com www.sportscarmarket.com or even www.excellence-mag.com -- each have periodic reports on each model and have compiled those sorts of statistics. Nothing in this life is free. If you do the legwork, it would be greatly appreciated if you posted your research here.

Thanx, CGT. I'm calling PCNA today, but thought I might get a head start here at Rennlist. I'll also pursue the other sources, and I don't mind forking out a few bucks.

I'll post any/all results. Thanks again.

Any title hints? I searched Amazon. I was hoping to confirm specific content before purchasing several books. I'll gladly order whatever titles help in the search. Thanx.

There's "Excellence was Expected" but it won't cover your 997 questions.

We're waiting for the Mezger book:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1906712085

Other respected Porsche historians and authors include Karl Ludvigsen and Paul Frere (his latest also on pre-order.) I don't know which of their works would answer your needs.

A quick Google identifies excerpts of their work (and you'll probably find more in Google Books.)

Just as posts to Web forums may or may not have a shred of fact or truth, so too, some of the books on Porsche have been criticized for being factually incorrect or making mistakes that confused or transposed information from one event to another. Who knows what's definitive or authoritative.

You'll find numerous threads here on authors like Streather -- a long time Rennlister and contributor here.

I'll order each of those authors' works and continue searching Rennlist. Thanks.

I've spent a few weeks searching online, and the marginal amount of info I've gleaned is conflicting as you describe. I'm hoping PCNA info will be definitive. I'll ultimately share the results.
