Just came back for PSDS Masters course
As usual, all was perfect there, but I am starting to get tired of the same track and PSDS only uses Barber Motorsports race track for their courses
Has anyone attended the Skip Barber 3 day racing course in Laguna Seca ? Would you recommend it ? How about the quality of the cars ?
Thanks for your comments !

What is your overall objective? If you want to pursue a competition license, then I'd recommend a 3 day race school. The program I attended had that as an available option and the only action item after the school was a physical and final paperwork. Two months later I was racing...

I was in group #1--the "Skidmarks." We won the autocross by not hitting any cones--'cause I am sure there were faster drivers! I was the guy with the black Bell helmet with the Airheads sticker on it. I was one of the many "Johns" in the group. We had some great weather. That was my second time at the track--I took the first Performance 2-day about a year earlier.

I did the three day formula course last October. I did Bondurant years ago when it was still Sears Point and three track days at Laguna in my GT3, starting the second day after delivery. I thought my instructors were great--personable, experienced and good insight. They definitely pushed me and made me faster. The student to instructor ratio was good, never felt lost or left out. I love Laguna, interesting turns, elevation changes, high enough speeds to make it interesting. The run off areas are generous I guess for the MotoGP guys so a safe track. The formula cars are 2l with wings, no more 1600 cc non-winged cars. The cars do have a sequential gear box and corner well. Less power and acceleration than the 997.2 GT3. I almost think the formula cars are easier than my .2GT3. Full gas in the formula car doesn't cause nearly as much drama.
I haven't done any PSDS courses, but learning in the formula cars really puts you in touch with what the car is doing and how to manage the balance.
